In September 2021 I joined the Institute for Research on Multilingualism as a doctoral researcher under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ingrid de Saint-Georges. The working title of my dissertation is Human-nature Relationships and the Meaning of Nature: An Ethnography-based Discourse Analysis in an Environmental NGO. My research explores the notions of nature that are expressed, shaped, challenged, re-constructed and reinforced in the discourses of ordinary citizens who are highly engaged in environmental activities. The project is situated in the field of Discourse Studies, and I adopt ethnographic approaches to research the issue. I hold a Bachelor of Arts diploma in German Studies from Beijing Foreign Studies University and a Master of Arts diploma in Learning and Communication in Multilingual and Multicultural Contexts from the University of Luxembourg.
