For my PhD project I identify language barriers of foreign survivors of human trafficking in England and the role of language in integration processes. My approach is that of community-based participatory research and methods I apply are linguistic ethnography and critical discourse analysis. I am passionate about fighting contemporary forms of slavery, helping to increase social justice and equity, international communication, and place-based education.
