Ntefne Dafni Santsak

I am an undergraduate student in the Language and Intercultural Studies Department of University of Thessaly and a member of Volos Linguistic Landscape Research Group. My research interest focuses on the field of Linguistic Landscape (LL). More specifically, I aim to examine how language is apparent in public areas, shapes them and interacts with physical space to create meaning, through an analysis of the semiotic signs as practices of (counter) commemoration and (anti-)control, but also as practices of identity performance.
