African Discourse Studies

Description
African Discourse Studies combines notions of African development, Development discourses and Discourse studies to interpret, reconstruct and understand ongoing changes in contemporary African societies in relation to the rest of the world. The African Discourse Studies group pays attention to changes happening in local communities, institutions, organisations, identities, environment and climates, markets, economies, technology, among others. Also, the group focuses on understanding how the changes are produced and reproduced or represented in discourses and discursive practices, through different modes.
