Nina Reedy

I am a PhD candidate in the new Hamburg-based Graduate School Democratising Security and investigate how social norms of gendered nationalism are evoked, especially in military contexts that expose populations to violence and heightened vulnerability in the name of protecting or policing (national) territories and bodies. I am interested in processes of subjectivation (esp. of military personell) and am looking to conduct a discourse analysis, and therefore would love to join the network.
