DiscourseNet Reading Group, session on positionality

Dear researchers

We would like to make you all aware of our DiscourseNet Reading Group, which has been meeting since three years every month to discuss classic and cutting-edge articles, books and chapters in the field of Discourse Studies. In our next session, on Wednesday 21 June, 1.00pm-2.30pm Central European Summer Time, we will discuss the very important topic of researcher positionality. The discussion will be facilitated by Leonhardt van Efferink from Maastricht University in the Netherlands. This session is important for everyone who conducts discourse research, but perhaps especially so for MA and PhD students and early-career researchers. To be part of this meeting, please join our Group here: https://discourseanalysis.net/readinggroup. (Log in with your DN account and click 'Join Group'.) All Group members will receive a Zoom link on Tuesday evening (CEST). If you have any questions about our Reading Group, feel free to write to jaspal.singh@open.ac.uk.

We hope to see many of you on Wednesday.

With best wishes

Jaspal, Magda, Jan, Jens, Kaushalya and Dana
