I am an early career academic with a PhD from the University of St Andrews (2019). My thesis focused on the recent political crisis between Spain and Catalonia from a poststructuralist perspective. More generally, I am interested in political discourse theory, the mechanisms of hegemony-building of the nation state, and the fragmentation and rearticulation of all forms of collective identity during processes of organic crisis.
