I am an Assistant Lecturer in English and linguistics at the Department of English, University of Kelaniya. I completed by Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) degree in English at University of Colombo. I love working with language, and my research interests include Sinhala pragmatics and Sri Lankan English. I am currently researching Sinhala discourse markers used in Sri Lankan English using the ICE-SL corpus.
