My work is situated within discourse analysis, with a particular focus on digital environments and young people’s presence on social media. I study how meaning is constructed in platforms such as TikTok, paying special attention to audiovisual and multimodal discourses that emerge in these spaces.

I am especially interested in how young users articulate identity, participation, and forms of civic imagination within algorithmically shaped media ecosystems. My research combines qualitative and mixed methods approaches, integrating discourse analysis with digital tools to explore large corpora of audiovisual content.
