We are pleased to announce the call for proposals for the 2026 Positioning Theory Research Conference (May 30 – June 3, 2026), which will be hosted by the Faculty of English at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland. The conference will be entirely on-site and in-person.
The conference is intended for early-career to senior academics, higher degree students, community researchers and practitioners interested in connecting with research related to Positioning Theory.
There are three types of papers for the conference: 1) Empirical research papers, 2) Theoretical/Conceptual papers and 3) Methodological papers. There is also a half-day Data Analysis Workshop following the conference, which has an additional fee and requirements. Please see the Call for Papers and our website for the specific criteria on writing paper proposals and data analysis workshop proposals.
Proposals should be submitted as MS Word or PDF files by February 1, 2026 via e-mail to:positioningtheoryconference@gmail.com
Decisions about acceptance/rejection will be communicated by in March, 2026. Following formal acceptance, the responsible (presenting) authors must register their participation. Registration opens in early March, 2026.
