I hold a PhD in Semantics and Discourse Analysis from the University of Paris Ouest-Nanterre (Paris X). Currently, I am an Assistant Professor of Linguistics and French as a Second Language (FSL) at Laurentian University, Canada.

My research interests are centered around the intersection of technology and meaning-making.

In previous projects, I have explored topics such as power dynamics in commercial advertising, female identity and printed media, the symbolism in women’s magazines, comparative journalistic portraits, the role of technology in second language learning, and the implementation of HyFlex models in higher education.
