Phd in Spanish linguistics. My research is about how language interacts with processes of social change, particularly in urban space. I draw on concepts and methods developed within sociolinguistics, social semiotics and multimodal critical discourse studies. Thematically, my research extends from minority languages ​​and nationalism in Spain, to multilingualism, segregation and gentrification in Gothenburg.
