I am a Senior Lecturer in Communication and Media at the University of Liverpool. 

I previously held a post of Professor of English at the University of Genoa, Italy and worked for a number of years as a language teacher both in Italy and the UK.

I am interested in the analysis of  discourse at the intersection of language and society and have apllied this approach to different research interests including (trans)nationalism, European politics and organisational practices.
