I conduct corpus-based discourse analysis. I designed and compiled a 1-million-word EU Discourse Corpus for my PhD. At the moment I'm working on the BAWESS (British Academic Written English in Secondary Schools) Corpus that aims to investigate language in exam papers through a disciplinary literacy lens.
