As a PhD candidate in Discourse Studies, I seek to better the lives of the marginalised. I am passionate in addressing the social injustice faced by sexual and gender minorities through community-engaged research. I have approached a local NGO (PLUHO) that advocate sexual and gender minorities' rights to collaborate for a project that is related to my doctoral studies. Particularly, I am interested in utilising discursive analytical tools to explore SOGIESC-affirming communication practices in mental healthcare settings, of which findings can inform clinical practices. So, I am open to any collaboration with local and international organisations that advocate quality (mental)healthcare access among or the improved welfare and rights for the SOGIESC minorities. I am also an academic editor who has proofread and edited at least 30 papers since 2017. In 2022, I began working under Proofreading by UK PhD. Additionally, I am a freelance entertainer who has performed at local Japanese cultural events, wedding events, an ASTRO TV show, and several local competitions since 2018.
