Ana Sofia Souto

Ana Sofia Souto earned an Honor’s Bachelor of Arts degree in Portuguese in 2016 from FCSH/NOVA. She later earned a Master of Arts degree in Language Sciences in 2018 from the same institution. She was awarded the ‘Best B.A. Students Merit and Excellence Award’ and the ‘Best M.A. Students Merit and Excellence Award’ by FCSH/NOVA. She represented Portugal at the 16th Edition from ‘Jóvenes Líderes Iberoamericanos’ in Madrid, Spain. She is a collaborator at ‘Associação Internacional Almada Mundo’ where, among other activities, she gives literature workshops. Presently, she is a PhD student in Linguistics, specializing in Text and Discourse Linguistics, at FCSH/NOVA.
