Busra Can

Hello! This is Busra. I have just completed my master's degree in linguistics at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Prior to that, I had my bachelor's degree from Middle East Technical University in Turkey and State University of New York at New Paltz since it was a dual diploma program. My major at METU was TEFL and it was Language & Literature and Culture at SUNY New Paltz. I speak Turkish primarily and English fluently. I know Spanish (intermediate level) and currently trying to learn Kurdish (Northern) as I would like to conduct studies related to Kurmanji (Northern Kurdish). In Fall 21, I will begin my studies in York University (Toronto). I wish to conduct more research on language attitudes, language ideologies, and language documentation.
