Dear users and members of DiscourseNet,
This is a reminder that the deadline is approaching for proposing contributions to the special issue ‘Discourses of Covid-19 and the Reconfiguration of the Political’ that will be published at CADAAD Journal and co-edited by Christiane Barnickel, Elena Dueck and Amelie Kutter. The deadline for the submission of abstracts is next Monday, 19 December 2023, late submissions accepted until 21 December. Everybody who studies aspects of political struggle during/after the pandemic from a discourse perspective and feels her/his work resonates with the particular focus we chose in the call is warmly invited to submit a proposal. For any details, including on the authors’ workshop that we will hold to discuss the contributions, please have a look at the call in the attachment or here: https://www.dvpw.de/gliederung/themengruppen/diskursforschung/aktuelles-callsveranstaltungen
The special issue is a follow-up to the first edition of the Crisis Discourse Blog, where discourse researchers share their ideas on and analysis of aspects of crisis discourse in a not-so-academic format, have a look: https://www.crisis-discourse.net/en/
