I’m Associate Professor of English Linguistics and Translation at the University of Bari, Italy. I teach English Linguistics, Corpus Linguistics, Discourse Analysis, Crisis Corporate Communication and Specialized Translation to both BA and MA students. My research interests focus on Translation Studies, Economic and Financial Discourse, Critical Discourse Analysis and Crisis Corporate Communication. My recent publications include Discourse Strategies in Governance Genres: How Corporations Manage Economic and Financial Crisis, (2018); Metaphorical patterns and ideology in economic and financial discourse (2020); What consumers really feel about corporate apologies.
