Until August 2021 I was a postdoc fellow at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, working on cartographic imagery, specifically on maps of the COVID-19 crisis in news media. My background is in geography: I studied human geography in Munich and worked at the Leibniz-Institute for Regional Geography until 2015. I finished my PhD in 2016 with a thesis on communication about family life and space.
