DTSIRIMPAS

I am currently a PhD Candidate of Political Sciences at the Department of Political Sciences of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. My main research interests concern the fields of ideology critique, power studies, Lacanian psychoanalysis, discourse analysis, and critical theory, with a focus on matters of ideological attachment, political cynicism, lack of trust in political institutions, post-democracy, and conspiratorial reasoning. I am currently a Visiting Expert at the Faculté de Philosophie et Sciences Sociales of Université Libre de Bruxelles. I have participated in the research projects CEVIPOL: Post-Truth politics and Political Parties (Faculté de Philosophie et Sciences Sociales, Université Libre de Bruxelles) and "DEPRESPOP: The public debate on the Prespa Agreement: Discourse, polarization, and populism" (Department of Sociology, University of Crete). I am also co-founder of the DemLab Reading Group (Laboratory for the Study of Democracy, Department of Political Science, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) and the online seminar series "'What are they hiding from us?' Dialogues on conspiracism".
