Landysh Ziyatdinova is a discourse analyst with academic training in Language Sciences (MA and PhD, BUAP, Mexico) and Romance-Germanic Philology (Kazan State University, Russia). Her research spans a wide range of discursive phenomena—from 16th-century colonial contexts to contemporary issues such as AI-mediated discourse production. She works within critical, decolonial, and sociolinguistic frameworks, focusing on ideology, enunciation, polyvocality, discursive subjectivity, and language technologies.
She collaborates with international teams in linguistic evaluation and AI development, particularly in areas related to discourse analysis and automated text generation. In this context, she created Discourse Analyst, a research tool designed to support critical and automated analysis of complex discourses.
Landysh is also a co-founder of the Comunidad Autónoma de Estudios del Lenguaje, an independent Mexican academic community committed to critical training in discourse analysis. The initiative offers specialized courses, research seminars, and collective spaces for reflection on language, memory, ideology, and emerging technologies. Her work seeks to foster interdisciplinary and transnational collaborations rooted in epistemic struggles and situated knowledge from the Global South.
