I'm a PhD candidate at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid interested in Critical and Political Discourse Studies, Corpus Linguistics and Latin America. My research focuses on the analysis of polarisation and metaphors in (Venezuelan and U.S.) political and press discourses in the context of the Venezuelan Presidential Crisis. In addition, I'm involved in Gender Studies, since I am currently investigating (as a side project) representations of gender violence in the Spanish press.
