Serhat

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the College of Mexico's Center for Asian and African Studies. I have a PhD in Human and Social Sciences from the National University of Colombia. I study the discursive legitimation and delegitimation of state-sponsored violence. I am interested in the cases of the Turkish-Kurdish conflict and the Colombian conflict, as well as dehumanization of the 'other' in Latin America and West Asia. I especially focus on the reproduction of systemic violence on digital platforms.
