The journal is in Portuguese mostly but any language may be considered as long as we can have the article translated.

The Thematic Project University Learners in Contemporary Practices of Academic-Scientific Literacy for the Training of Globalised Teachers and Researchers (FAPESP no. 2022/05908-0), through four of its researchers, is launching a call for papers for the dossier CROSSED VIEWS ON UNIVERSITY WRITING to be published by REVISTA DO GEL in the second half of 2025.

‘Crossed perspectives’ means the different perspectives adopted in the works to be brought together in the dossier, which can take into account different theoretical perspectives and different transdisciplinary relationships, and we welcome these crossed perspectives both within each work and in the dossier as a whole.

However, there is no set direction for the types of intersections, except for the fact that they all have to be based on the theme of university writing, seeking to contribute to a theoretical-conceptual and/or applied reflection that exercises innovative criticism both within a conceptual system and outside it.

In order to reach the largest number of interested parties, this first call for proposals aims to assess the relevance of the papers to the dossier's proposal based on their abstracts. The idea is that colleagues can plan the submission of their work, already aware of the relevance of their work to the theme of the dossier.

Papers will be accepted in Portuguese, French, English or Spanish and the blind review of the articles will take place after submission next year (between June and July 2025), on the journal's website, in accordance with the journal's standard procedure.

For the moment, in addition to the TITLE OF THE WORK, you must submit an ABSTRACT (200 words) and KEY WORDS. The ABSTRACT should include: presentation of the topic, objectives (in line with the dossier proposal), theoretical basis and methodology, form of analysis, results and expected contributions.
