Minnetian

Clelia Minnetian is a researcher at Bielefeld University in the DFG-funded project "Zur Institutionalisierung der Rankings. Diskurskarrieren tabellarischer Leistungsvergleiche 1850-1980". Before she was a doctoral researcher at the graduate school "Innovation Society Today" at TU Berlin. Her PhD focuses on governmentality and subjectivation in vocational orientation. Her research interests include political theory - especially poststructuralist theory, discourse theory and governmentality studies -, discourse analysis, subjectivation analysis and historical sociology. In her current research she focuses on the discursive institutionalization of rankings in competitive sports in the 19th and 20th century.
